We’re proud of the United States women’s national soccer team for winning the Women’s World Cup! During games players displayed the inspiring characteristics of strength, teamwork, determination and passion.
Since then, the conversation has shifted significantly from this historic win that brought the country together to a sometimes-controversial dialogue about social matters. There is high visibility of today’s athletes at any level and across league sports. Athletes have a platform, whether they care to or not, and with that comes the responsibility to respectfully use their words and actions to unite people to make a positive impact.
We advocate for this so much that we here at Capture have made careers out of helping athletes to achieve this positive change! While the majority of the women on the team are involved with charities to some degree, right now is the time for them to take their efforts to the next level to use their platforms to inspire others and show the benefits of more #athletesdoinggood!
