We’re just coming off of one of our biggest events of the year, the 5th Annual JJ Watt Charity Classic. When planning such a huge event, every stage of the planning process is crucial, especially considering this process begins nearly a year in advance—contacting the sponsors, securing a date and venue, gathering volunteers and tying down the small details. There are many moving parts, which could become chaotic, but sticking with that process aids in smooth execution.

To understand the many moving parts of event planning, it’s helpful to break it down. That’s what I’ve decided to do for you in this fun event infographic mini-series as Capture dissects event planning into three parts – pre-event, during and post-event.

Pre-event preparation can seem overwhelming at first, but it doesn’t have to be. This checklist will help ease your mind and keep you on track to ensure your event is one your guests won’t forget.
